Feb. 2020: Plaintiffs sued Tyson Dirksen and Evolve Development for Fraud in San Francisco Superior Court.

According to the Complaint, plaintiffs invested $100,000 with Dirksen and Evolve for a real estate development deal, based on Dirksen's representations that other individuals and companies -- including Dirksen himself -- were prepared to invest nearly $2 million to acquire and develop the property at 870-872A Union Street (and/or an entity known as 870-872A Union Street, LLC).

Plaintiffs contend that contrary to Dirksen's representations, there were no other investors.

As usual, neither Dirksen nor anyone representing Evolve Development has appeared in court to defend plaintiffs' allegations.

As of February 2021, the plaintiffs are currently attempting to obtain a default judgment.

The case is Jelkak, LLC v. Dirksen, CGC20582823 (Sup. Ct., S.F. County, filed Feb. 10, 2020).
